Where do your ideas come from?
Mostly from my imagination, from reading stories, dreaming of ethereal landscapes, people and mythical creatures. I also greatly admire the work of fairy tale artists from the past two hundred years as well as the more recent work of other creative people, whether they're painters, illustrators, sculptors or writers, sometimes a single sentence from a book will bring to life an idea that may have been forming in my dreams for months.

I'm very lucky to live in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature and wildlife. There are crystal clear rivers, waterfalls, rainforests and beaches nearby and I live in a rural area, where wild and domestic animals are plentiful. During the day, I work as a vet nurse so animals are a huge part of my life!
